Rob Lincoln

Rob Lincoln is a prolific singer-songwriter from the Philadelphia area, best known for his multitude of songs that range in styles from finger-picking folk and historical ballads to psychedelia and garage rock. He usually performs in his folk-rock trio Lessick & Lincoln & Cohen (aka Men From When). No matter the genre, Lincoln songs are known for their memorable melodies. As a solo performer he features an entirely different selection of original songs on various stringed instruments (acoustic guitar, resonator guitar and 6 string banjo) with lots of audience interaction. In 2014 Rob released his solo debut, 5 Cents A Song, the longest debut recording ever (300 songs) and longest single disc album of all time in any genre (18+ hours). Featured in NJ Monthly and Icon Magazine, it also received positive reviews in Canada and the UK. In addition to this, Rob writes some really odd children’s songs and wacky novelty tunes that have been featured on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento Show. In 2009, many of his political songs were selected for the international website www.antiwarsongs.org. Lincoln is very active in the Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance (PASA), having founded both their houseconcert series and Summer Songfest. He loves having his songs covered and numerous covers of his songs can be found on YouTube. As of 2018, he has more than 300 original songs posted online. In addition to songwriting, Rob is an accomplished violinist who has appeared on more than a half dozen CDs by other artists. https://lincolnsongs.weebly.com/
