Lisa is a vibrant and dynamic individual with a passion for great music and non-profit service. How perfect that she could serve as the President of the Philadelphia Folksong Society for 8 ½ years and has volunteered with the Philadelphia Folk Festival since 1974! Because of her experience in marketing, management, volunteer coordination, artist development, and fiscal diligence, Lisa was made Festival Director for the world renowned Philadelphia Folk Festival in 2015 and is in the midst of planning the 55th annual PFF slated for this August.
Her non-profit service and leadership has extended to joining the Board of Folk Alliance International where Lisa has just been elected for a second term and serves as the Secretary for the organization.
Lisa’s professional life includes being a senior sales and marketing specialist with more than 30 years of experience providing marketing, project management, and consulting services in the arts marketing, new home construction, education, manufacturing, and retail arenas.
Not content to always be behind the scenes, Lisa has also been a member of the Savoy Opera Company performing on stage at the famed Academy of Music in Philadelphia.
