Last Chance, a musical duo since 2012, consists of classically trained violinist Ingrid Rosenback and songwriter Jack Scott. Jack plays guitar and 5-string banjo and Ingrid plays fiddle and harmonica. All their intelligent, handcrafted songs are original, and all their shows are fun. Based in Philadelphia, they’re 5 time veterans of the Philadelphia Folk Festival and winners of Delmarva Folk Festival’s 2018 Folk Hero contest. Jack Scott and Ingrid Rosenback picked the name “Last Chance” for their musical duo to remind them it’s our last chance to play exactly the kind of music we love, namely intelligent, honest, handcrafted songs designed to capture the hearts of our audiences. We play extensively throughout Greater Philadelphia at festivals, coffee houses, theaters, blues clubs, libraries, senior centers, bookstores and other venues. The band is fully insured. We’ve appeared at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Suzanne Roberts Theater, Hedgerow Theatre, the Lansdowne Folk Club, Chaplin’s Spring City, Jamey's House of Music, Philadelphia's Hard Rock Cafe, Media’s Roots Ramble and the Delmarva Folk Festival as winners of the 2018 Folk Hero contest. We proudly participate in the WXPN Musicians on Call program. Our latest album, “Heart of the Forest,” (2024), is available for downloading and streaming on Bandcamp as are our earlier releases, “Timeless Hours” (2021), “Summer Again,” (2020), "Claiming the Sky," (2018), "Endless Flight" (2016), and “We Came to Play” (2013). Our CDs are also available on Amazon, Spotify, at our concerts and directly from us on our website. Many of our songs are regularly played on Philadelphia’s WXPN-FM and on college and community radio stations across the U.S, Canada and Europe.
