The Jersey Corn Pickers are a Philadelphia area band that plays original and traditional high-energy bluegrass and Americana music, and their style is informed by their love of old time, folk, rock, blues, traditional country, jamgrass, and all manner of roots music. They are busy performing at clubs, coffee houses, and festivals all over the northeast. Together for 14 years, JCP have opened for such notable musicians as Peter Rowan, Tony Trischka, Marah, and many more. They performed at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, World Cafe Live, and appeared on the Gene Shay Folk Show on WXPN in Philadelphia. The band have three albums out: Jersey Corn Pickers, Lessons Learned, and A Little Something, and they are currently recording their fourth. They love performing and it shows - their live shows are rowdy affairs that will put a smile on your face!
