Her music takes you places. Amy Dee is a good-hearted, story-tellin’, question-askin', genre-jumpin' songsmith, with an old guitar and volumes of Americana tunes, traveling between swing, blues, bluegrass, old country and folk. Raised by music-lovers with wanderlust and a Volkswagen bus, sharing music that improves lives is her daily mission. It all started with a $50 guitar she bought from a union organizer at the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
She also brings a repertoire of standards audiences know and love. Amy’s music travels down a crooked road... Audiences enjoy originals, stories, standards, and always get a chance to sing along. A trained vocalist, guitarist and writer with a music degree, Amy inspires new audiences daily as a full-time musician entertaining retirement communities, places of worship and folk venues. Original albums streaming include "Southern Routes," (Americana – w/Revelers), "Come With Me" (Newgrass – w/Nashville’s Jimmy Heffernan) and "Ask New Orleans” (recorded in the French Quarter w/Aurora Nealand’s Jazz trio).
