Hotsy Totsy

Hotsy Totsy is a Collingswood, NJ based, indie-pop trio who broke onto the Philadelphia music scene in early 2014. While their sound is definitely inspired by the girl groups of the 40s, 50s, & 60s, to quote John Vettese (The Key at WXPN), “this band covers much more sonic territory than just that, from showtunes and vaudeville to jazzy expanses of mystery and vibe a la Bat For Lashes.” While the girls have, steadily, become local favorites, they have also graced stages in Philadelphia, New York, and Delaware, including: World Cafe Live, Union Transfer, The Living Room, Rockwood Music Hall, and Smyrna Opera House. The have also had multiple appearances at Gable Music Ventures’ Ladybug Festival. Hotsy Totsy currently has two studio albums out (Fresh Pineapple, Skeletons & Ghosts) and is currently penning new music for a forthcoming third album. Audiences of all ages are drawn in by catchy hooks and smart lyrics that are wrapped up in seamlessly blended, unique harmonies.
