Ami Yares

    Ami Yares

Ami Yares is a 12-string guitar wielding, world traveling folk musician and peace builder. His music merges his American roots with the sounds of his Meditteranean branches in a yet-to-be-named fusion of styles. -- "Yares wields his 12-string guitar as if it were an entire orchestra, backing his vocals with a dense, rich cascade of sound" (David Foster, AXS). -- The music that Ami writes and performs is as much as a call to action as a humble sonic addition to the world of music. He has worked and performed extensively with communities and audiences in the Middle East, Europe and all over the United States. To Yares, music is a lens to which we can understand and be moved to change ourselves and our world for the better. -- This summer, Ami is releasing his newest EP, Begin to Begin Again. Catch him soon with guitar in hand, hope in head and rootsy music to make you move.
