Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 49th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. The Philadelphia Folksong Society is able to present this wonderful event every year through the generous support of over 2,000 volunteers!
Please read this page as well as the forms in the links below carefully for volunteer instructions. Some of our processes have changed to better serve you. Please use the links below for the most convenient process. If you must sign up via phone, please call the PFS office between 10 am and 5pm Monday through Friday. For your convenience, speak to a PFS staff member directly rather than leaving a message on the voicemail.
First, all volunteers must be PFS members (at least Associate member level- $15). Second, volunteers (returning and new) must fill out a volunteer form and pay the volunteer administration fee ($25).
This year volunteers will be able to submit (or renew) membership AND sign up for volunteering (and pay fees) on the SAME form. Therefore, fill out ONLY one form for each volunteer. You may NOT sign up two volunteers at one time, as we need separate login accounts and information for every volunteer individually.
If you have volunteered before but did NOT volunteer LAST YEAR, please sign up as NEW volunteer.
If you are already in our system (e.g. you are a member, have ever volunteered, etc) sign in with your username & password (you can retrieve these by giving your email upon login or calling PFS).
If you have never been in our system (e.g. you have never volunteered and are not a member) then you may begin the process, after clicking one of the new volunteer links below, by verifying that your email is not in the system. If you do NOT have an email address or share an email address with another person, you may either use a unique bogus email (something similar to blank@blank.com) or call the office for assistance.
ACTIVE MEMBERS (Returning and New):
NOTE: All returning Associate Members who signed up last year from May to August must renew using the other forms below (not this one).
